Supposedly Favre was going to play only 1 series--so far 1st half is almost over and Favre still in, looking VERY focused and sharp. I would have definately laid off SD had I known of Sherman's "secret" game plan. :finger: Sherman. Hope you get to the unemployment line soon.

I think his fear of the unemployment line made him lie, which he did, and try to win this game. Which he is. One half and one series is pretty different. Game would not have steamed San Diego with that info either. That is ugly.

Believe it or not, most of the time the coaches keep to their qb rotations as stated in the media. They know fans/gamblers (sometimes one and the same) care about that stuff.

In this case, keeping in Favre for almost the entire 1st half is illogical. The field is very slippery and wet, increasing chance for injury. He is a very veteran player and does not need the work at all. IT MAKES NO SENSE.

FROG is right on.

He recognizes he is on the hot seat and is now trying to win this game. What this asshole doesnt know, is probably plenty of GB fans/gamblers likely FADED the Pack based on the info he was distributing to the media.

Let's see how long he stays off the unemployment line if Favre is lost for the season.

I'm not on a side, just the under, but this is not wise, imo.

Hang in there (it's not over yet). Sometimes these second halves get crazy with all sorts of points being scored. But I do agree with you, it's never fun to get misinformation

At what point did Mike Sherman become the coach? That is Brett Favre's team, he decides who plays and when. Sherman is only there to coach Rodgers.

exactly what WC said. I almost garantee that Farve decided how much he was going to play tonight. Apparently he felt he needed the work, so he stayed in until he wanted to come out.
